A bit on the technical side as this was developed for use by doctors, but interesting for all. The FRAX tool was developed by the World Health Organization to evaluate fracture risk in patients. The output is a 10-year probability of hip fracture and the 10-year probability of a major osteoporotic fracture (clinical spine, forearm, hip or shoulder fracture).
